On our farm we are committed to sustainably growing premium food! We grow the best for the best. Our practices are organic and beyond because we are passionate about flavor, nutrition, soil fertility and healing the land.
We are transplants to beautiful Missouri and are pursuing the dream of our lives by growing family, friends and incredible food. We want to work in and build our community and provide quality local food. Our farmstead was founded in 2019 with our daughter Chelsea. David's parents, Anita and Gary also agreed to put down their roots here. We couldn't have done what we have without their superb support. Faith, Family and Farming: We are actively building all three. David- David is an Eagle Scout. learned Mandarin Chinese in Taiwan as a missionary, is a wastewater professional with a grade IV operator license, and is also a Journeyman Industrial Electrician that can fix or build just about anything. He spent several years working with his wife Janell doing water quality research. David loves bluegrass music, homemade ice cream and Wifey... in that order. Chelsea- Chelsea is a fiercely independent three year old who loves chocolate, Winnie the Pooh and Momma... in that order. |
Janell-
With a BS in Zoology and a minor in Chemistry, she decided to become a Midwife. Janell delivered hundreds of babies while running a birth center. Shortly after being married, Janell and David worked in water quality research for several years. Janell spent time in Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland as an exchange student, nanny and missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. |
